Primeval Whirl

Posted under Animal Kingdom & Primeval Whirl

If you thought that Dinosaur was scary then check out Primeval Whirl in Disney World’s Animal Kingdom. It isn’t as scary as you would think, but after spinning around several times and being whipped around tight bends you might be scared of yourself! The ride is a fun one, sometimes painful, but very very fun. Similar to those roller coasters you may see at the state fair, Primeval Whirl features two side by side roller coasters that take you through a more fun filled time warp to the death of the Dinosaurs. So if your kids are too scared to ride Dinosaur and you aren’t scared of being beaten up a bit, check out Primeval Whirl. I’m sorry in advance if watching the video makes you sick!

Sounds Dangerous Starring Drew Carey

Posted under Hollywood Studios & Sounds Dangerous

Although Sounds Dangerous Starring Drew Carey may not be open continuously in the Hollywood Studios, the ride/show is still one that loved by many. It’s a very unique type of show that involves mostly audio as most of the show is in complete darkness. After entering the studio you are told that you are part of a pilot show where you go undercover with a detective. Once you have your headphones on the fun begins. Once the “video feed goes out”, the audio comes into play in full force as you hear bees buzzing right behind your head and it even feels like someone is breathing down your neck! Watch out for the haircut as well as you may even think you’re getting one yourself. The audio feed from the show is showcased below, since most of it is in darkness there is little point in showing the video plus it’s nowhere to be found on YouTube!

Flights of Wonder

Posted under Animal Kingdom & Flights of Wonder

Disney’s Animal Kingdom is home to a very interesting bird show called Flights of Wonder. The show is a mix of education and fun as the bird handler introduces several different species of bird to those who attend the show. The birds are usually fairly well trained but occasionally one flies away, making for an even more exciting show! Half way through you’ll meet a tour guide who lost his group. He’s really part of the act, scared of birds and adds a lot of laughs. The end of the show features a visit from a bald eagle as it swoops over the crowd along with several other birds who fly around the audience throughout the show. The entire show is below and gives you a great feel of what Flights of Wonder has to offer!

Living Characters: Remy in Epcot

Posted under Epcot & Remy Animatronic

Disney is starting to roll-out living characters, or animatronics of some of its most loved characters. One of the first characters to come to life was Remy from Ratatouille. The waiter walks out with a covered dish and all of a sudden lifts the lid to reveal the chef rat. It’s very humorous from the videos as you seem Remy answering questions and dancing with the chef. Some may find it odd to see a rat at the dinner table, but that makes it even more fun! To see Remy in action, watch the video below then let us know what you think of this living character from Disney.

Walt Disney World Railroad

Posted under Magic Kingdom & Walt Disney World Railroad

The Walt Disney World Railroad circles the entire Magic Kingdom park, allowing you to get from area to area with ease and a nice view along the way! The train ride is a classic for the park as it is the first ride that you will see and where the morning opening begins. Although you will see much of the rides throughout the trek, you also see scenes that are unique only to the Walt Disney World Railroad. Such as a small native American village or the bone yard. If you’re tired and need a rest, jump on the train. Even if you ride it all the way around the park its worth it as you get a break from the heat and a rest for your feet!
