Epcot’s World Showcase is home to several country replicas. One of those replicas will take you to Germany in a very realistic and fun way. Throughout the Germany area there are several restaurants and shops that let you experience life in a quaint German town. Several of the workers in these shops are actually from Germany and most will answer any questions you have. One of the more popular spots is the Weinkeller where you can taste several different types of wines. They also have several places to eat that serve famous German foods. From a coo-coo clock store to a mini replica of a Germany town, Germany has a lot of interesting sites to see as you travel throughout Epcot’s World Showcase.

In Disney’s Magic Kingdom you would expect the most nice and gentle rides wouldn’t you? ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter changed all those rules as Disney created one of the most scariest rides out there. In Encounter you experienced first hand the future of transportation. But when the teleportation goes horribly wrong and an alien is intercepted instead of the real visitor, the audience is in for one scary experience. With motion sensors riding on your shoulders you hear and feel the alien as it breaks lose and wrecks havoc around throughout the room. In the end the controllers finally recapture the alien and the experience is over. After about 10 years in operation Disney felt the attraction was just too scary for the section of the park and replaced it with Stitch’s Great Escape. The general feel of Alien Encounter is still there but the thrill and fear aspect is very much gone. Although you may not able to experience Alien Encounter in person anymore we always will have our digital ride through.

Although Tarzan Rocks is no longer showing in Animal Kingdom it is still one of the most favorite shows in Disney World. The show packed all your favorite songs from the Tarzan movie into a show full for thrills and action. As the singers belted out the tunes from the movie BMX “monkeys” would roller blade, bike and skate in the background. Air performances were also taking place throughout the show with Tarzan and Jane flying around the jungle live right in front of you. The show was a great one and now can only be seen in digital format as it has been replaced by Nemo The Musical.

Every Christmas Disney lets the Osbourne family, no not THOSE Osbournes, invade the Hollywood Studios Streets of America to string millions of Christmas lights, 5 million to be exact. They fill the entire area from top to bottom in Christmas spirit and this year they’ve turned things up a notch. Now all of the lights “dance” to the music being played in the area, making one amazing light show. The story goes that the Osbournes had to buy their neighbors home to allow their light display grow. When Disney Imageniers saw they show they asked the family to move their show to the Hollywood Studios, where they’ve been stringing lights ever since. Below are just a few videos from this years Osbourne Family Spectacle of Lights. After watching leave a comment here and let us know what you think of the Osbourne Family Spectacle of Lights.
