In Epcot you can find the American Pavilion there is a show dedicated to the history and people of America.  The show is similar to another show in Disney World, the Hall of Presidents in the Magic Kingdom. The show is done completely with animatronics and is hosted by Ben Franklin and Mark Twain. Many of America’s major historical events, inventions and people are showcased in the adventure as you travel through America’s history through great storytelling and through a great show. Below I also have a video of the “pre show” which is a group that sings colonial songs and a colonial band that plays vintage music while you wait for the show to begin.

In Epcot’s Journey Into Imagination With Figment you take a ride with Figment where all of your five tests are well…. tested! You are shown how your senses allow you to let your imagination explorer. You will hear a train right in front of you, see a butterfly disappear and smell an imaginary skunk. Although you don’t get your touch and taste buds tested you do get to experience what it would feel like to live in an upside down house! Figment sings the famous song as you tour the building and it will be stuck in your head all day long. After the journey you get to try out some fun technology as you help figment spark your imagination. Give the ride a try and see what you think!

On Epcot’s Test Track you get to experience first hand what car makers go through when testing the cars they make. Through a range of controlled tests you will feel every bump and turn as you speed through hairpin turns, roll over bumpy terrain and slam through a wall into a 65 mile an over ride over a banked turn. When the ride is all over you then get to see the latest cars that GM is making. You get a first hand glimpse at cars of the future. Test Track lets you be the crash test dummy and feel what its like to go through several tests that cars must pass to be safe. If you are in for a real thrill Test Track is the one for you as there is no experience like it.

Epcot’s World Showcase is home to several country replicas. One of those replicas will take you to Germany in a very realistic and fun way. Throughout the Germany area there are several restaurants and shops that let you experience life in a quaint German town. Several of the workers in these shops are actually from Germany and most will answer any questions you have. One of the more popular spots is the Weinkeller where you can taste several different types of wines. They also have several places to eat that serve famous German foods. From a coo-coo clock store to a mini replica of a Germany town, Germany has a lot of interesting sites to see as you travel throughout Epcot’s World Showcase.

Hidden within the Land Pavilion at Epcot is one ride through that is not to be missed. Disney’s Living with the Land takes you through several stages of our earth. Throughout the ride you learn how we have lived off the land for so many years. From the cave men to agriculture of the future. They actually grow most of the fruit sold in the park within this ride and you can actually see the new ecological ways Disney is growing the fruit and food that you eat. It’s a very interesting and educational ride that will inspire you to learn how we live with the land.

Located in Epcot’s Future World, Mission: SPACE simulates what a trip to Mars might just be like. The ride simulates several forms of G-Forces from 0 gravity to up to 2.4Gs. The ride also contains an interactive aspect to it as each person in the four person capsule as a role to play in the mission to Mars. It is a very intense ride with realistic feeling and video that really makes it feel like you are blasting into space. Real astronauts have taken a test drive on Mission: SPACE and confirms its realness to the actual blasting off into space.
