Space Mountain Update

Posted under Magic Kingdom & Space Mountain

Over the past several months Disney World’s Magic Kingdom’s version of Space Mountain has gotten some major upgrades. Not only did the track get mostly replaced with new pieces, the entire pre and post queue area has been made over with updates that go farther then just some paint. As you walk onto the ride you can now play games, like a new version of asteroids, and see some cool stuff. Of course the windows to the “stars” are still there and better then ever! There is also a new post show area with more games and some animatronics as well. The videos below show pre, post and during. They are all thanks to AttractionsMagazine who was able to catch a soft opening glimpse of the ride and shoot some great footage for us all to see! If you go ride the new and improved Space Mountain drop us a comment an let us know what you thought!

Walt Disney World Railroad

Posted under Magic Kingdom & Walt Disney World Railroad

The Walt Disney World Railroad circles the entire Magic Kingdom park, allowing you to get from area to area with ease and a nice view along the way! The train ride is a classic for the park as it is the first ride that you will see and where the morning opening begins. Although you will see much of the rides throughout the trek, you also see scenes that are unique only to the Walt Disney World Railroad. Such as a small native American village or the bone yard. If you’re tired and need a rest, jump on the train. Even if you ride it all the way around the park its worth it as you get a break from the heat and a rest for your feet!

Posted under Buzz Lightyear Spin & Magic Kingdom

On Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin you become a junior Space Cadet and help Buzz Lightyear save the day by shooting the enemies. This fun ride is located in the Magic Kingdom, Tomorrowland to be exact. All rides are a different experience as you control when and how the car spins, allowing you to get the best shots and score the most points. Laser guns are positioned at the front of each car and the goal is to shoot targets moving around within the ride. It’s fun to try and beat your friends and you may see your score on the daily high score list! Buzz Lightyear will have you spinning and playing time and time again as each ride is different as you master the turns and gain the most points!

The Jungle Cruise

Posted under Magic Kingdom & The Jungle Cruise

The Jungle Cruise of the Magic Kingdom is “world famous for being world famous” and is another classic ride of Disney World. As you journey through the jungles of the world your captain for the trip will knock jocks around like there is no tomorrow. It’s an ever changing ride depending on the captain you get so you can ride and ride again. The animatronic animals are also impressive as you see elephants, head hunters and even the backside of water! The Jungle Cruise is one not to be missed and this version below is one of the best I’ve seen in awhile. Now you can ride the Jungle Cruise every ten minutes or as often as you want! Enjoy.
