In Disney World’s Magic Kingdom is a show that will not only educate you but entertain you as well! That is the Hall of Presidents which allows you to meet all 43 presidents as well as learn a bit about colonial America. The show is similar to Epcot’s American Adventure as it is completely done with video and animatronic figures of the presidents. Several famous speeches are said along with at least a hello from all forty three presidents. Each time a new President is elected the show changes as each new president is added. This keeps the show one of the freshest in the Magic Kingdom and all of Disney World as it changes at least every eight years. Although you may already know your colonial history and most about the Presidents, the show is still great and will give you a nice break if you are tired from walking all day!

It’s a Small World is a Disney classic as it inspired Walt Disney to create the parks we know and love today. It all starts off as you set sail to meet children from countries all over the world singing one small, catching (and sometimes annoying) sound. The children throughout the ride and the music change to fit the country and region they represent and in the end they all come together to show just how small our world is. To finish things off we see goodbye messages from all around the world that show us just how small and magical the world we live in today is!

Disney World’s version of the Enchanted Tiki Room is currently under “New Management” and has been for some time. But the old Disney classic still comes to life with several birds who sing your favorite songs along with two Disney “stars” who bought the place. Zazu from The Lion King and Iago from Aladdin both “own” The Enchanted Tiki Room and you are there as they tell the birds of the new change. Although Zazu wants to keep the show the same, Iago has some big changes in mind which angers the Tiki Gods. A cameo from the Tiki Gods leaves the birds singing as their show seems to be pumped up to the next degree and you’ll be singing and dancing your way out the door as they make you “disappear”.

Disney has some very big classics and no ride gets more classic Disney then The Haunted Mansion. Newly refurbished and better then ever (I just rode it for the first time since they fixed it up!) it has never been as great and “spooky” then ever before! The new Haunted Mansion features several new scenes as well as updated scenes from your favorite ride. The Bride now has a face and voice which brings more information to the story of the ride. Plus new upside down stairs and an updated seance rooms makes The Haunted Mansion even better then before!

One of the most beloved and favorite rides in any Disney World park has to be Pirates of the Caribbean. Recently updated to showcase the movies that it inspired, Pirates takes you on a journey through the life of a pirate. From the raiding and pillaging to ship battles and even to jail, Pirates of the Caribbean offers one of the most ‘dark rides’ ever. The ride takes place as a boat tour as you glide down the waterway. The action takes place all around you as you go from scene to scene and a few small drops may show up as well. If you love the movies you’ll surely love the rides as they now incorporate scenes and characters from the movie.

Disney’s Wishes is a spectacular fireworks and live action display set to music right in the middle of the Magic Kingdom. Cinderella’s Castle is the backdrop for the show that takes place mostly in there and is synced with music. The show is one amazing one and is not to be missed. You’ll never see anything like it as the fireworks, live action actors and the castle interact and intertwine to create one magical fireworks display.
