Although Sounds Dangerous Starring Drew Carey may not be open continuously in the Hollywood Studios, the ride/show is still one that loved by many. It’s a very unique type of show that involves mostly audio as most of the show is in complete darkness. After entering the studio you are told that you are part of a pilot show where you go undercover with a detective. Once you have your headphones on the fun begins. Once the “video feed goes out”, the audio comes into play in full force as you hear bees buzzing right behind your head and it even feels like someone is breathing down your neck! Watch out for the haircut as well as you may even think you’re getting one yourself. The audio feed from the show is showcased below, since most of it is in darkness there is little point in showing the video plus it’s nowhere to be found on YouTube!

Pixar’s logo Luxo Jr. is now staring in his own show at Disney World’s Hollywood Studios. In the new Pixar section of the park, Disney has made a living character of the famous bouncing lamp. You can watch him dance to the music and interact with his surroundings with differing shows both during the day and night. Muppet Vision 3D has found a home in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Now you may wonder why the Muppet’s have invaded Disney World but it’s the perfect fit and their show is really good! The pre-show kicks things off and sets the stage for the mayhem inside. The story unfolds as you enter the Muppet’s 3D lab where all things 3D are created. The trouble begins when a new creation fights back, recking havoc all over the lab. It’s somewhat of a sad story in the end as you learn that one Muppet feels left out, but in the natural Disney way it ends with a happy ending. The show is funny and features both 3D and live action. You won’t believe how the building even gets in on the fun as the end is one of the best 3D endings in Disney.

The Great Movie Ride has been featured before but I just uploaded my own version of it to YouTube in High Quality form! The Great Movie Ride is located in Disney World’s Hollywood Studios and used to be the focal point of the entrance. You enter the ride by watching classic movies, one of the best queues of any part of the four parks. As you jump into the seat your “director” is your tour guide and things get rolling! The ride is full of classic scenes from your favorites movies and you get to be part of them as well! The live action during the show is fun and if its your first time riding/watching you’ll be a little shocked I’m sure! So watch the high quality version below and enjoy The Great Movie Ride!

Walt Disney’s Hollywood Studios contains a Broadway rendition of Beauty & The Beast. Here you can see the show performed live, for free! It’s very well put together, very entertaining and takes you through the entire story of Beauty and the Beast, live on stage. You will see your favorite characters from the movie come to life, singing dancing and even transforming back into humans. A trip to Disney World is not complete without seeing the great show in the studio and it gets better each and every time. Rock N’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith is one of the fastest rides in all four parks and the only to take you upside down. Located next to the Tower of Terror in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the experience begins before even entering the coaster seats. As you wind through “G-Force Records” you feel like you are entering a real life music studio and get the shock of your life when Aerosmith stands “right in front of you”. It’s really a huge TV screen built into a studio but it sure is realistic! After getting whisked away to their gig, Steven Tyler announces that everyone in the studio gets a backstage pass to the concert. Only problem is its across town, traffic is crazy and you need a super stretch limo to get there! That’s where the coaster comes in. Once you are locked into the seat the “super stretch limo” rockets over 60 miles an hour. Sending you upside and speeding “across town” all in the dark while classic Aerosmith sounds are blasted into the seats. It’s one amazing experience and I know, from first hand experience, that the front seat really is the best seat on this wild ride!

Toy Story Mania is the newest ride to enter the Hollywood Studios and shrinks you down to the size of a toy as you take on several carnival games. You jump into your buggy and shot your virtual gun toward the 3D screens, popping balloons, throwing rings onto bottom tops and several other midway games. It’s an interesting mix of reality and virtual reality as you shoot virtual darts and rings at a virtual game. Toy Story Mania is a very immersive game that spins you around and pits you against your partner. Being one of the most unique rides you’ll ever ride, or play, Toy Story Mania is a must for anyone going to Disney World’s Hollywood Studios.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is home to one entertaining, hilarious and full throttle show in Indiaina Jones Stunt Spectacular. The show starts off with a great preshow where extras from the “film show” are selected from the crowd. Once that part is over the real thrills begin as Indiana Jones himself bursts from the roof, dangling inches from the floor on a rope. The famous “boulder chase” is then played out with some funny segments to end. The next part of the show reintroduces us to the extras as a market scene is pulled into place. Some great stunts are once again pulled as Indy and Marion climb the buildings of the market, fight off a few ninjas and blow up a truck all in fifteen minutes. While the scene is changed the girl who plays Marion teaches an “extra” a few stunts of her own and a surprise is shown to the audience that will blow you away! The show then ends with the famous helicopter fight scene, ending with a disappearing enemy and an huge explosion! With the new movie out Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular is better then ever and is always a blast to watch!

Located in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Lights Motors Action! Takes you on a high speed thrill through the streets of Paris as movie car stunts are performed right in front of your eyes. The show is taken from Disney Paris and takes you through a run of a hollywood stunt shoot. They teach you as well as show you how the stunts are safely performed and it’s one thrill that you will never forget and will want to see over and over again! Although the show contains mostly car stunts there are also other forms of tranportation thrown into the mix as well as a leap a building.

Disney’s Pixar characters are starting to take over Hollywood Studios and you can see that first hand in the Block Party Bash parade. The bash is more like a show on the streets of the park where Pixar characters come out to party, make you dance and have a blast while doing it. Dance party songs are played that can be heard throughout the whole park and those in the parade pull park goers in to dance along. Acrobats also fill the streets, doing back flips and other jumps on mobile trampolines. The show ends with bang as several balls are shot into the air, giving a prize for all who watch.
